Today I'm going to eat cake with my friend at Koenji. We spent Christmas the same way last year as well. It seems like it's becoming an annual tradition.
The both for ozoni varies depending on the region. Region Differences in Ozoni In Kansai, white miso used, while in Kanato, clear both is common. However, my family enjoys both. Both are very delicious. Ozoni contains mochi. I love mochi!! Additionally, the shape of mochi varies depending on the region. In my aria, round mochi is used in ozouni.
It sounds like a good tradition! I hope it can continue in the future!
